All of the items listed below have been specifically requested or are needed to complete some of the Sowing Seeds in Belize projects that are underway. 

Clothing: All sizes are needed, from infant to adult.  It would be very helpful if each box is separated by size (Child, youth, adult) and gender.  Spring/fall jackets are needed as well

Blankets—Homes are not heated so a 55 degree night can feel awfully cold!

Towels, sheets can be used in good condition

Multi-Vitamins – childrens are top priority, but adults are needed as well

Books:  Encyclopedias, educational material, leisure reading for all ages, National Geographic, Bibles, Bible studies, devotionals, etc.

Empty Backpacks

School Supplies—pens, pencils, notebooks, erasers, pencil sharpeners, binders, folders, calculators, scissors, markers, crayons, and craft supplies

Dolls & army men – these will be given as Christmas gifts with the backpacks

Shoes – sneakers, flip flops, rubber boots, work boots, & hiking boots – infant to adult

Sewing machines, fabric, buttons, thread, patterns, scissors, etc.

Folding tables—(2’ and 4’ wide), folding chairs

Blender – can be in good used condition – need 2

Baking supplies – cookie sheets, rubber spatulas, stainless spatulas, mixing bowls, stirring spoons, whisks, measuring cups and spoons

Small Ice Coolers – need 2, approx. 24 quart size with shoulder strap – these will be used by two women who will be selling baked goods on foot

Garden tools: Garden rakes, shovels—both spade and flat head, mattock axe, digging forks, hoes, hand cultivators, etc. - can be used in good condition

Chicken Wire:  4 ft high x 150 ft length (12 Rolls)

Bicycles—youth and adult.  No gears and no hand brakes are preferred

Tools –Circular Saw, Cordless Tool Set, Pancake Compressor, Generator, Drink Coolers, Hammers, Hand Tool sets, Small Pressure Washer, Axe, Sledge Hammer, Weed Eater, Push Mower, Chain Saw, SawZall, extension cords.  Note: these tools will be kept in SSIB's possession to use for village projects/SSIB house

To Furnish SSIB House – Set of bunk beds with good mattresses, set of twin beds with good mattresses, 3 matching ceiling fans, small microwave, multiple sets twin sheets, multiple sets full sheets, printer with supply of replacement cartridges cookware (not aluminum), water cooler for 5 gal water bottle.

Kitchen supplies for TFOCC Kitchen Project --Commercial 3 bowl sink, oven, grill/cooktop, pots, pans, serving utensils, baking pans, sheet pans, plates, flatware, plastic cups, etc. 

Tile-860 square feet, and grout

Adjustable Class 3 Trailer Hitch with 1 7/8”and 2” ball to be rigged to fit Mahindra Pick-up Truck

The Details:

All items collected need to be delivered in a banana box—and each box needs to be labeled on the top of the box as well as on 1 long side and 1 short side with the contents and the weight. If possible, we would prefer that like items are in one box – this will alleviate the need to open and organize all the boxes as they are being distributed.
