Join us in Belize December 12-19, 2019

Happy Birthday Jesus Celebration

We are excited that you are interested in being part of our first team mission to Toledo District, Belize! This mission is relational in nature and will primarily focus on distributing the items that have been collected for our Container Project to village schools, churches and families. The team will also help with the Happy Birthday Jesus Celebration at Toledo Outreach Faith Christian Center on December 14 that will involve about 20 remote villages. There will be many opportunities to interact with children and adults of all ages in a host of different ways as well as experience village life and culture when you meet our precious friends in Pueblo Viejo Village. While we will have much work to accomplish, the pace of life is much slower and deliberate, allowing for rich team and community experiences.

The team will be housed at the Pallotine Retreat Center – the rooms are dorm style with 2 single beds—each with it’s own fan, a shared shower/bathroom – one male, one female. Three meals a day will also be provided—a cooked breakfast, bagged lunch, and a prepared cultural dinner. There is a lounge area and conference room with internet service and beautiful grounds to enjoy, not to mention the sweet nuns that have become good friends!

$900-1100 per person (transportation expenses are a per-diem rate, not individual, so this will be dependent on total team number).

Lodging, meals while in Toledo District, transportation from arrival to departure, any project expenses

Does not include: airfare, meals from airport to Toledo District, any leisure or day-away expenses. In-country insurance can be purchased for $40/person which will be an add-on to Sowing Seeds in Belize missionary insurance – this is a comprehensive package of benefits. Click the button for more information.

Note: Individuals are responsible for securing airfare – most all flights arrive in Belize City around the same time (early afternoon). Depending on the flight schedule of the team, there may be a small wait time until all team members arrive. A van/driver will be hired for the week and will escort the team to the Toledo District, which is a 4-5 hour trip.

Once reservations are secure, you will receive a medical release form and other pertinent information. Reservations and payment will be due by October 30, 2019.
